Customs, BTW...

Guess there isn’t a lot of love for a brushed finish. 😥

How about these? X Squared, with cerakote ear stems and nose bridge, with glossy black metallic iridescent on the orbitals. Ikon black lenses. Linegear rubbers. Tight arms. Brand new tight tune on the nose bridge.

No offense taken, @delarscuevas . Yes, everyone is entitled to ones opinion and I respect that. I can tell you for certain I do not like cauliflower, and I love Lima beans. 😁

I was thinking... to make it feel “finished”... would a clear coat, or a color candy coat over the brushed effect make it feel finished? What would make it appealing to you?

Maybe making it just a bit smoother would do the trick, it looks a bit coarse now. Just compare my polished Juliet (never repolished) with a bit of the brushed tubing from the afoementioned Ti bike frame. The frame is just a tad more matte and darker than the Juliet

Clear coat would't add much I presume, but I'm not a customiser, so what do I know? 🙂

Transluscent candy paint might be cool. I once saw an aluminum Intense Tracer mountainbike with thranslucent candy red sprayed straight over raw and discolored welds. It was sick. 😀

All good feedback. You don’t have to be a customized to know what you like. 😁

I was definitely looking for a real rough finish. I really liked it, but I can see what you mean with the pic above. I can always buff it out a bit to make it less pronounced. I was also thinking a faint candy orange or red that faded to clear over the ears might pull away the aggressive brush a bit. Maybe I will try that.
