Delamination

Do we know if leaving your glasses in a hot car will cause delamination. I recently left my x- squared in the glove box on a hot day with brand new titanium polarized lenses and they are delaminating......

I should have known better....those lenses were expensive too, and as far as I know, they are irreplaceable.

Humid? My XS ooBIP lenses went from beautiful to worthless in an afternoon.

I've found that older lenses are more vulnerable, especially if they have been a display pair. I've had older lenses go bad on a single outdoor wear in hot and humid conditions.

I wish linegear made a lens close to that option without the anti reflective on the backside.

Playing devil’s advocate are Custom Cut more prone to delamination?

A fair proportion of CC lenses I have had done have gone that way, And I am super fastidious with the care of my lenses.

Not completely confined to CC as I’ve had a fair amount (although a small ratio in the 30 years I’ve owned Oakley’s)

I recently noticed a positive red lens (OEM) in a perfect SJ2.0 white chrome frame has recently gone rogue on me. (Small area near nosebomb)
