Dispatch & Dispatch 2 lens compatibility

A friend told me that Dispatch is 62mm wide while Dispatch II is 61mm wide, but the question is : Are they interchangeable? Anyone know?

I honestly don't know the exact measurements of either. However, if one is 61 and the other is 62 then they wouldn't be interchangable...

Ps- just dug this up for the list master @cacatman
But Dispatch is 62 x 47.9 mm
And Dispatch II 61 x 49 mm
So dispatch is not tall enough for dispatch ii usage.
And so dispatch ii isn't wide enough to be a dispatch donor.

As previously stated, DP1 and DP2 are NOT interchangeable. The 2 has a squarish look vs the one. Why would one think they are interchangeable?
