Display Case not lighting

I have a display case that has always lit up just fine. I went to move it and removed the top section from the bottom section, clipped a black and red wire and when I hooked them back together it doesn't light up now. Any help?

How so? I never said I just turned it on and it's not working. I said I clipped the wires and reconnected them now its not working. What other info does anyone need?

When you go to the parts store to buy new spark plugs do they just hand you spark plugs or do you give them all the info about your vehicle so they can give you the correct ones?
