Extremely Overpriced Oakleys on eBay

I have a question, does somebody know why Oakleys on eBay (mainly X-Metals) are so overpriced on eBay? Oakley X-Metal XX just sunglasses, for example, are over $1K.
The interesting thing is that is just on eBay.
Other aftermarket platforms like our forum or FB Marketplace have more competitive and realistic prices. I’m aware that eBay takes a part of your money but prices still overpriced though.

Due to the Fashion doing it's two decades behind, cycle. Thus early 2000s are the latest decade for 'fashionistas', which in turn dictates the price hike.

You can thank Japan for that, and some specific eBay sellers. They have them listed way over priced to flood the market and try to raise the value. Hell there was one for 24k Juliet listed at 5,000 that sat on there for way over 10 years. Unfortunately there are idiots out there that pay that
