If they come in tan or the other issue-appropriate browns I'd be interested (not a black footwearer). The newest gen have the slippery thin laces and vertical metal eyelets in the ankle, I'm always losing laces out of the top eyelets. I miss the OG with laces you could double-wrap your ankle with and still double knot, too bad I've killed two pairs of them.

Price is a bit steep though. And with limited sizes I doubt they did a run in 13/14.

I too was hoping for alternate colorway other than black but after reading this, my hopes were gone.

At least they acknowledge what I've been saying since I got on the forum some 5+ years back;

Black, with black, on black. The first, the best, the only color needed.

(Though I refer to shades in this respect, I generally go brown belt, brown shoes).

man, those look amazing. i hope they do well and they start making more boots again. Oakley boots are like the only ones i can stand wearing at work all day.
