Update from my sources. Ferrari and Oakley are done. No longer simpatico. Aside from the a few of the sample pairs that have left the bunker, these will never see the hallowed shelves of retail.

Wow widely advertised and very well confirmed that existed, and now will be unreleased? If true, this will be a modern collectible and will be sought after. 4K usd now. how much.more in the future?

They never went into production hmmmmm so i doubt it; or if it is just glasses prototypes.

Don't get ahead of yourselves. It may turn out to be true but at this point it's still a rumor.

Imagine, we very well could find ourselves with a take-down model in the Carbon Shift (or should no longer count as such?), but never the flagship.

Nonetheless that'd boost lust/value over what may be even fewer prototype examples. And if that's the case, great job guys. HQ also probably read all your comments about how the box was better than the pair itself, scrapped the pair, and are currently restructuring the company to focus on boxes from here on out.

Considering the last information here that SF-16C might not be release, or rescheduled for unknown date.
if any of you got the opportunity to buy one in a reasonable price (approx. 1,300$),
of course not a fake, box and papers included (not sure if serialized )
would you take the chance and buy, or wait to see what will be the fate of this pair?

Nearly all of us would buy just for the fact that there are a limited few out there and the uniqueness of it.

$1300 is a lot, but for a 1 of X (small small number) it's really not
