Fires in NorthWest Denver… very close….

wild fires at this time a year? in Denver. i thought it snowed and rained there a lot in the winter, isn't this highly unusual?
 
It is highly unusual. It was the perfect storm of bone dry grasses and high winds knocking over power poles and power lines sparking.
