Got these RX JMM Walker’s in Argyle (brown tortoise, non-exposed wire core) yesterday in the post. Been waiting for these lol Not too shabby for a Ulysses S. Grant. Had $150 credit but even if I didn’t, $200 would’ve been a steal. In their forever home. This was the first pair of JMM I realllyyyy, really wanted & I think I like them more than all the others.
They are a bit bigger than I was expecting but I really like how they fit. Great coverage. These have transition RX lenses

Figured I better post this over here or I’d get lynched in the main WOAYWT thread

I trot out my MARS’ Stunt Double (a/k/a Replica) now and again to remind myself how bad Replicas are. They are heavy, stiff, and while allegedly polarized the lenses are flat as a pancake (and sealed in…no C-Rings). But they served the purpose of giving me a MARS leather template and also something to experiment with besides a real MARS. Lastly…they were my first attempt wrapping and my only use of Icelandic Wolf Fish.

The comparison pic shows my real Croc-Crater next to the Wolf-Fish Replica.

Oh…and I paid about 100.00 for these…they now charge 200.00-270.00 on eekBay or Etsy. I pity the person suckered into a pair.
