Glasses other than oakley?

Buffalo Horn is always a very expensive medium for eyewear frames, and i would imagine takes a lot of skill and material. This design works for you Travis, but could never wear this piece! They are awesome however, as with all of your other than Oakley's!
I find most of my (non-oakley) items from secondary market (consignment mostly, eBay, and other shopping apps) so, I think I got a steal for less than a pair of new Polarized Oakleys 😎
I tend to like round lensed frames more than any other shape. These have a bit of cat eye flare to them… which I honestly don’t much care for HOWERVER, they are growing on me a bit. When I have some free time, I need to heat up the acetate (temples) and straighten/correct them. It’s likely my face that is crooked 😤😆 but not too worried about it. Eventually, I’ll have a selfie posted actually wearing them. They just aren’t “right” with them sitting crooked. These are quite heavy for being horn (it almost appears to be triple laminated; it looks as if there are three layers, probably 2-2.5mm each layer.
Nonetheless, a beautiful specimen for a wonderful quality (non-Japanese) made pair of spectacles. But… they’re horn…. Can’t go wrong 🤩 Next on the list is some Horn crème to preserve them to the best of their ability.

And, thank you sir. :D I truly am blessed and thankful to Almighty God above. Things are not a necessity, so, it all honestly holds no true value to me at all. Just a hobby to help keep me within solid lines.

Appreciate you and all the other OF members here. I have learned SO SO much in my 14 years of collecting.

A fine concept…that’s what my lawyer’s gonna tell my wife!

I have that same exact pair, plus a couple of other Decends! They are nice looking through them aren't they! NASA technology!
I like the Descend Z. And the Descend O, possibly unavailable . And the Descend folds. Also possibly unavailable.

I looked at the Descend Pro, but I wasn't feeling the photochromic lenses.

The view is fantastic. They are so light.

Unfortunately I have fingerprints all over them at the moment. They do seem to be fingerprint magnets. I need to learn how to grab the edges only. I do have the Koala non alcohol cleaner spray and a few of their microfiber cloths. Revo says to clean with water, mild soap and their included bag.

I also paid a great price for them too.

Wins all around!

Koala is the only cleaner and cloth I use also!!
Superior to anything else out there on the market!

Revo wrap. From 1990's. The writing on the frame says 870001 Frame France. Blue lens, I believe non-polarized. Or very little polarization.

There is a current model available, RE1180.
Looks the same as the vintage. The lenses are probably ungraded, after all it's been over 30 years.

Just got these in today. I am such an easy mark for movie sunglasses for shows I dig. I'm rewatching the MARVEL Daredevil series from the beginning before watching Daredevil: Born Again. These shades are replicas from the new series.

They are allegedly based on Anne & Valentin M.2 sunglasses (which I admit I've never heard of) and are not available in this frame color or lens color from the manufacturer.

Magnoli Clothiers to the rescue. I've purchased from them many times in the past. They are a superb bespoke manufacturer in New Zealand. They specialize in cosplay tailoring and accessories...Indiana Jones, James Bond, Terminator, Ghostbuster, etc., etc., etc. In fact a few years ago I had them make me a custom STAR WARS vest...outstanding work all around these sunglasses included.

Gorgeous!

Now all you need is to be costumed up in Hells Kitchen. At nighttime.
