Saw those the other day. Made me realize that Rudy pretty much as only had like 2 staple pairs: The Rydon and Genetyk. I think the Noyz has been around for a while too but the other two are the only ones that are offered in custom. Everything else is on the chopping block into the next year. I think their business model relies too much on constantly introducing new stuff, which is partly made possible by sharing arms and nosepieces in their sport line. Selection is nice, but it's like...what's the point when none of them seem popular enough to stay?

The new Tralyx debuted and it's really just another feeble attempt to compete with the Radar. Hell, it's really just a cookie cutter with literally more cuts.

Ever see the promo for the ProFlow? They tried to establish a bunch of different terms on embellished technologies to make an impression. lmao "Air Conditioner" and "Dorsal Stabilizer".

Really don't mean to slam the brand here — I'm holding onto a pair myself — but they've got such a questionable model as a company. I see them at bike expos merely closing out surplus stuff. I don't think there's really such a thing as a "Rudy Project collector". In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the only people getting new pairs are the sponsored ones.

But on another note, I like the look of Briko's new line. The Stinger was reintroduced (arms are forgettable tho), and the Cerberus makes me think of a more practical M-Frame Strip cut. Their flagship Shot Evo looks cool too. Not necessarily attractive stuff, but imo stuff to make a fashion statement like Cipollini did. It's the kinda stuff I'd expect out of Rudy for the price.

I know it's sacrilegious, but for driving and wearing work clothes, like suits and ties, I like Serengeti drivers. Their current generation of glass driver lenses is amazing. Incredibly crisp, sharp and contrasty. Sharper and clearer than any brand I've tried on or owned. I understand glass lenses are not practical and pretty much dangerous for sporty activities, but for just walking around, the bright crisp contrast of Serengeti glass driverlenses are unmatched IMO. Oakley lens tints like Bronze polarized, Tungsten, Titanium are all nice, but I prefer Seregenti glass driver lenses for contrast lenses.
Now in terms of looks, and distribution, they have very limited styles and are pretty hard to find except off the internet. They are owned by Bushnell and I think that only helps their optics.
That being said, anytime I dress down on weekends, go on vacation or play any sport, I'm wearing Oakleys. Thanks to you all I wear Flaks with Titanium clears at my computer at the office.

Bollé B-Rock: perhaps another large shield lens, competitor for the Jawbreaker and 100% Speedcraft.

Trivex lenses, rubber sections on the brow/cheeks. Sounds like something that can really fog up considering there's not much venting. ~$179 to 199

Hate to sound like a fanboy, but I don't know what would outright make me want these over a Jawbreaker. I'm sure a Bollé fanboy can respond with the opposite. But it's like...accounting for sophistication and level of detail, the B-Rock would have to fit me way better to make me take it.
