You didn't miss anything for say, it just seems that some mods with some "special interests" don't like you commenting, questioning or answering questions on certain threads.

Without knowing what examples you're talking about all I can say is, to my knowledge most moderator action here is not some mod on a power trip censoring the forum to comply with his interests. What happens is people report posts and the mod action is in reaction to the reports. In other words if a post gets deleted, it's not because a mod didn't like it but because a fellow forum member reported it. One could consider it a form of peer feedback, for better or worse.

And no, it's not me reporting posts. I've get better things to do (and bigger things to worry about) than playing forum police.
