No way to find out as they do have a shelf life. you could have bought a pair in 2005 and it was manufactured anywhere between 1999 and 2005. pics of the glasses and any markings on the inside of the arms (on the frame) if applicable and/or the label on the box would help.

what are you looking to do with them re: knowing the generation? do you need parts/know the value?
