How do you tell on the crystal, I thought I read on here about a light shined into the crystal? Don't really want to try and scratch it to find out.

if you drip water on sapphire it will bead up. Glass it will just run
No its just the angle, the battery checks the same.
Ok, will try that.
So I did that and it sort of beaded, but it also had a blue violet reflection in the water drop from the floresent lights in the kitchen????

Percent accurate description. Usually fakes won’t use a sapphire crystal

Having read through this and looked at all the pics, this is looking like it’s genuine. Fakes are good but I’ve never seen someone go through the process of making the internals that close. And the exterior is flawless. Seems genuine to me.
