I have seen many offers on ebay, vinted, etc… which seems legit from all aspects, expect they are missing the SKU:
jawbones, straight jackets,…
So if they are real, just wondering how an original oakley can end up on the street without it?
- replacement part from customer service?
- pre-production ? (But they should have « sample » printed?)
- custom? Do all the models available through the custom program have the « custom » label (I think it is a red one). Is that a recent thing?
do you have any other clue, guys?

Thnks

It’s much simpler than that. Some just never had them

I have lots of Oakleys with no sku number. Some just came that way, especially older pairs. Some are from OCP. If you are reluctant to make a purchase, please post pics on the forum so they can be reviewed.

I have a few warranty replacements and none have a sku.
I think we may have an explanation here: often people complain about something wrong after online purchase, and Oakley simply offer a remplacement frame without sku.
Then it is tempting to resell this frame, on ebay, particularly if you have got unused lenses from an older pair (often persimmon or other clear lenses that came from an original pair which has been re-sold without additional lenses -everybody forgets about them). Easy to sell a « brand new » pair which costed nothing!…
May that be the reason we see more of them?

Oakley MPH releases also have no SKUs printed on the frames, and there have been thousands of different MPH models released over the years.

How does Oakley find and ship out the correct replacement frames when they are without sku. numbers? 🤔

I Imagine huge drawers at Lux and the employee frantic going through them trying to find the right one...........with a photo of the one he/she is trying to find in one hand and the other hand riffling through all the frames.

*Goddamned, it's gotta be in here somewhere!*
