Hi everyone,
I recently got my hands on an ion-plated Time Bomb 1 with the black face. I have wanted this watch for years, basically since it first came out but I was far too young to afford one. The one I received is a little scuffed up, but as far as I can tell, the movement is functioning perfectly.
I tried to take it to a watchmaker to look it over and replace the gaskets as well as the battery/capacitor, because I've read that the original capacitors often go bad. Only trouble is no local watchmaker near me will touch the thing, saying they don't work on these types of watches.
I've done some research here on the forum and have read through some incredible threads written by users who've taken it upon themselves to repair their own Time Bombs. However, I simply don't have the time or the resources to take on such an extensive project on my own. So with that, does anyone know of any watchmaker within the US that services or specializes in Oakley watches? Preferably one that won't charge me more than the price of the watch itself.
Thanks everyone!
