Let's put it this way...I cracked my first XS lens swapping it and I'm pretty experienced in lens swaps.

Wear the ruby until it's scratched up then swap the fire in, lol.

I also had the same setup as you. Brand new XS with OEM ruby. I swapped it out early to put in some DWP and ruined the ruby.

The good news is that custom cut lenses for XS are usually cut a little smaller than OEM cut because they account for the fact it's a PITA to swap. So, it's only really a bitch with the OEM Non Custom cut lenses, imo.
