In-store swap?

Hi all!

I have perhaps an interesting one someone might have an answer to for me. I just got a pair of Wire Tap 2.0s from a 3rd party seller (rewards site through work, so they should be legit) with the black lenses. After trying them on at home (already tried them in-store before), I found I didn't really like the black lenses as much as I thought I might. My question is if I take them into an Oakley store, of which I have one generally nearby, will they take these as a return and let me trade for the same ones with the Deep Water lenses instead? I have all the original boxes and packaging and all that and the receipt from the 3rd party.

Thanks in advance!

JD

@jdetwiler16 so you got a pair of sunglasses from one online store and want to return it to a Oakley store and ask them to do a refund on it? If I have understood it correctly then no, you cant buy something from one company and return it to another, obviously. Apologies if I have misunderstood

No, you can’t swap it at a different business.

Just return it where you bought it for a refund then buy the pair that you want elsewhere.

I didn't buy it. I cashed in rewards points and they only offered the one lens color. That's why I'm asking :/

Not a refund, no. I wanted to swap them out to get a different set of lenses, basically. I mistakenly assumed the lenses on these couldn't be swapped. I also didn't want to pay the price for the lenses, but it looks like that's my only option. Oh well!
