hello to all my oakley peeps,
im glad i finally found this forum and all you fine people to chat with.ive been a huge oakley fan since they started with the polkadotted bmx grips and havent stopped liking this company since.i think by now ive had probibly 20 different pair since the razor blades.my first love are my x-metal juliets and now my newest friend the plaid fast jackets.hope to talk to you all soon.

I'm glad I stumbled upon this website, it seems to be full of extremely helpful information. I only have 9 pairs, my favorite being my electric mustard full metal jackets (also my first pair in '96), but plan on adding a few more in the next month or two.

My name is Nathan Long. I am 25 years old and live in PA. I have been recommended to this site by several differant people. I am an active member of the o-review, but have never been on this site before. I recently broke my leg playing baseball and have 3 months to spend off work so I have some extra time on my hands so I thought i would finally check this place out.
I have been collecting oakley for about 12 years now. My collection has experienced a big shift in the past year and a half. At my peak I had around 80 pairs in four cabinets (a double, two megas, and a countertop). I had a lot of x metals and several frogs. I decided that I wanted to get rid of a lot of my "collection" pairs and focus on collecting and buying only things I will wear. I sold off all of my vintage rare metals and my rare frogs as well as quite a few filler pairs that i never wore. I am now down to 45 pairs and a double wide and I am very happy with what i have left. I still love seeing other peoples collections and still love getting new pairs for myself i have just changed the focus of my collection. Once i get more familiar with how things work around here I will post some photos of my current set up. I look forward to getting to know some new people who share the oakley passion.
