Joining now as in dire need of a tune up as nose bridge is failing on me sadly

*waves* Hello! Long time lurker, multi Oakley owner since the 90's lol like so many here I imagine. Figured it's finally time to register haha.

Got my first pair of Juliets on the way, at long last. Wanted some for so, so long. Currently just a tiny collection, a old gen 1 Straight Jacket that I paint modded, an Oil Rig gen 2 in that nifty black/grey camo text colorway. Got one of the crazy old O backpacks, a messenger bag, couple hats. *hugs*

Been collecting for about 17 years, but have been a fan for over 20...

My personal favorites are X-Metals, Gascans and Over The Tops (OTT). I tend to collect X Metals, Artist Series and Frogskins, though I have yet to turn down a random pair of anything if I like the way it looks.

I also collect display items, if its rare I want it! When I first started collecting like many of us I didn't know I was collecting, I was just buying what I liked and I didn't think to keep packaging and this kills me now as my collection has reached the point were room must be made at times for new pieces and I don't have the box to properly store the ones going into the drawers.

I love this hobby and hope that my wife will continue to look the other way when I head up to the counter, hey she has her shoes that I try not to talk about...lol

My major concern is that if I die, my wife will sell all my stuff for the price I told her I paid for it…

Hi. Joined because my boyfriend wears glasses but he's a dancer and his glasses would always drop to the floor and the arms would break. 7 years ago we changed his prescription to frogskins. He hasn't broken a pair since. Also loves changing up the colors of arms. I found this forum because I just bought him the Koston. I was so disappointed when I saw they were screws. I thought I was sold a knock off. But going on those forum I learned the frogskins LX were an older model. So thank you for the info! Sorry that was totally a long intro.
