You need to glue some pleather over it and do some faux stitching. It'll be much nicer.

I too purchased a pair of fake R1's before I acquired an authentic pair, just wanting to make sure they would look good on my face.
Now I use them when I weedeat because they don't fog up like regular safety glasses tend to do, but that's the only good thing I can say about em.
The "coating" has started to peel off in several places, revealing that the arms are in fact made of two different metals, one is copper, and the other is most likely pot metal
. They are heavy AF, and the lenses are $hit, but since I use them for yard work that's no big deal.
The end of the ear stems are much smaller than the real thing, just like on the video.
Here's a couple of pic's. If need be I can try to get better pics when I get a chance, but I figure you can get the idea from these....

I am so happy when the good honest people of the forum root out the dishonest hacks! Although this thread was an entertaining read, I am saddened at the lengths some people will go to pull a fast one over someone else.Similar threads
