I would like some forum opinions on a pair of 'Blue Iridium' Juliet replacement lenses I have....

Were they just known as 'blue' before a name-change to 'Ice' or are they something a bit different? They certainly have some lovely purple hue to them when held at a certain angle that I can't see from the pairs I know are Ice....

To my knowledge, Mark, they are different lenses. With deeper hues than Ice Iridium. They have Purple hues as well as a Reddish hue on the initial versions.
Thanks, mate. I've a nice polished frame that needs new lenses but I think these are too nice to use!!

Also, I believe, the original Blue Iridium was using an amber base lens (like Fire Iridium, for example). They later changed it to a grey base (which Ice Iridium employs as well).

That's interesting - my pair have the grey, the same as Ice...
So you're thinking they're accutally an early Ice pair?

Having just looked on O-R, the first iteration of Blue Iridium, did have a Grey base.
