Juliet Xmetal flaws or natural?

try it. close one arm and see how hard/easy it is to flex the arm to the rub spot. then repeat on the other side. the arm should contact exactly where the rubbed points are. otherwise, Gremlins.
the other arm (right) not actually really touch those lines, unless you push it really hard. the other side (left) of the arm it touches barely only. See photos

could have been tuned and the wear happened when the nose bridge was looser. they do look good though and for a wearer, not too many people look under the frame. =)
 
When you think about it that is the area you touch with the inside of your thumb when putting them on and taking them off, If they've passed through a few owners over time you'll get left handers right handers, Some people use both, especially depending on how tight they are. They look like an early generation so sweat, Dirt, Oil from skin, Creams etc is going to take it's toll after nigh on 20 years of use.
