Big +1. It also reminds me how "safe" Luxottica makes their designs. For a "new" frame, nothing avant garde to see here...

The other thing to consider is potentially a host frame for future wearable glasses with various electronics built in.

Was thinking about that. The stems got some kind of Tron like aesthetic The circular parts seem awkwardly chunky, yet no mounting points for any Airwave or Glass-esque unit, but who knows how early the design stage is.
