Lenses not fitting / resize orbital?

I have a J-Serial X-Metal Juliet and a JI-Serial Plasma Juliet... both are giving me a hell of a time with both OEM and custom cut lenses. I can get the lenses in, but it takes a LOT of effort to hold the orbital tight enough to get the orbital screw to engage.
I put a brand new set of OEM Titanium Polarized lenses in the XM and got one wear before I started to see stress-related delamination at the pinch point. I removed the custom cut lenses from the Plasma frame before they could start to fail.

I understand there are differences between every frame because of how they were manufactured, but has anyone modified the lens groove within the orbitals to loosen the fit around their lenses?

I would just trim/sand the lenses down gradually until a good fit is achieved.

And although I am sure you already did, please check the channels and clean them out.
