Looking for a little info......

Good morning all! I hope everyone is having a great day today!

I'm in need of a little help identifying what Gen of XX's I have. I've been an avid Oakley wearer since the days of the blades and razor blades with the trigger stems, but it wasn't until just recently that I discovered this awesome forum, and the world of serious collecting. I didn't realize there were so many iterations of each model, and for well over 10 plus years, I was under the impression that my XX's were in fact Juliet's. That's how they were presented for sale by the guy I bought them from over 10 years ago, when I didn't know any better . Fortunately, it was a complete set, with the box, coin, bag, etc. They are not serialed on the glasses, but the box says A65003, and the coin is dated 1999. I've include some pics.

Any help anyone can give would be much appreciated! Thank you for your time and consideration!!! I hope everyone has an awesome day, and a wonderfully blessed week to come!

If nothing on the arm its a 3rd gen or possibly warranty pair.

Thanks! I checked for the "w" on the box, to see if it's a warranty pair, but there isn't one, so 3rd Gen probably?

I'm not as knowledgeable as you, or most on here for that matter, I was just going off of this thread I read yesterday pertaining to "warranty" boxes....

I wouldn't have known either had it not been for that post
I did do a little more research on XMXX's, and now I know that they stopped putting the serials on in 04 so I guess mine were made sometime between 04-06 when they were discontinued

Check to see if there is a thread about boxes. If yours was made from 04 to 05 I don't think the box you have was the original box. I think the labels were updated somewhere along the way.

are you sure you are checking the right spot for. serial? that is the right box but you should have a serial or a 3 piece box would be more appropriate. an should be on the inside left arm near the temple when looking out.
