Did not see that one. Believe it or not...I don't watch war movies (well...I don't count the Expendibles series, Chuck Norris, Arnold, or Stallone movies as war movies per se...).

Last one I watched of my own volition was "Saving Private Ryan" back when it first came out. I was at the U.S. Embassy in Budapest...we actually had a showing of it in a local theater and invited a whole theater full of Hungarian military folks to watch it...so I 'had' to watch it. Very well done...but dang...hit way too close to home for this solider!

I watch stupid comedies and superhero flicks these days...that's about it! Major Payne is about as deep as I want to watch on a war flick

Moo MARS. Yup...certainly possible. I have some cowhide in the appropriate thickness...also some kid skin (I'd bet the OEM was kid skin). My Blue Suede MARS (which I believe is now the Cactus MARS) was kid skin I dyed blue.

I think a black and white wrap would look very cool! Do you stick & sew the material to the frame or is it just sewed?

Y’all have heard me beating this drum for awhile now. Looks like time to let the tinkering begin! Simply put I’m going to try and initially make my own 3D modeled and printed template stamps and ultimately end up with steel die templates with the express plan of making some oddball exotic...

It’s pretty clear I got no clue what I’m doing…and if this ole soldier can pull it off anyone can! Ya should give it a try.

Hard to hurt a titanium frame with a saddle stitching needle…now a lens or fingers? That’s another story and I got the scratched Linegear Matte Black lens and punctured digits to prove it!

Course now I take the lenses out first before anything

Halloooooooo Oakley Forum!!

I gave y’all a break for a bit but time to reengage! Only 127 days till my 66th Birthday and at the rate MARS are “not” showing up…time for a gentle nudge.

Looking for a Crater or Jordan. Don’t need box, coin, lenses, rubber, or even screws as long as it’s structurally sound. Point of fact I don’t even need temples. But will take em all if that’s the way you’ll part with one.

Now I know someone out there has a Crater they are sitting on to do something with someday…let it fly and be free!

My goal is to try wrapping one in Rattlesnake again…dig all my current wraps and can’t bring myself to strip any of em

Let me know…cash is burning a hole in my pocket!

Having no luck finding a beater Crater....so I'm gonna up my trade game here...for ONLY MARS Crater or Jordan considerations.

Still willing to buy for cash price dependent, but I'm going to sweeten a possible trade deal a bit or a cash and trade deal. I'm adding a real Grail piece from my collection here...but it's for a Crater or Jordan trade deal only. It is a @Bonz-1 Rust Decay MagSwitch with a pair of hand cut lenses by @Chris A Hardaway

I also have two Penny's and am willing to use one of them as part of a Crater or Jordan trade deal only.

One Mars is good enough for me sir. I wish I could afford a crater. GLWS and I only tagged the King because he knows you are the PRINCE of MARS.
