There is a $725 Mars for sale :)

But not a Crater my good man! A MARS Standard won’t save this Cactus Trooper from going under the knife 😏

That one for sale there can be turned back into whatever is clever for you. If polished is not your forte. Now a days you have to treat yourself to expensive items. Dont look at the price..just buy now and think later..

truly i wish I could convince myself to sell one to you, or even to sell one at all. I just can't seem to get myself to list them. It's wild how they're now even pricier and harder to find than r1s now. It seems like their values have skyrocketed to obscene numbers..or what we would have expected theyd evolve into. Pairs from 2015-2018 that used to sell for 300-450 are now going for over a thousand. I suppose just biting the bullet and paying that price would make it yours. What I always did when I found something I wanted that felt too pricey was to sell a bunch of things I no longer needed, mainly o matter...or at least a couple of items to help cover the some of the cost Then I would imagine in my mind that I was paying what I believed that desired frame was truly worth. The surprising part is that everyone who seems to be selling them usually gets their asking price, which is in the 900 to 1300 range. Anyway, I’m sure you’ve considered this many times already, but I thought I’d share my strategies for dealing with what I perceive as too expensive. If its for your birthday....buy that listed thousand plus dollar crater and just forget what you paid. Deals on these are slowly slowly disappearing from existence.

Thanks for the strategy Brother! …and I don’t disagree with ya…and recently sold some Militaria from my attic collection for just that reason.

For me it’s about not wanting to continue to drive up those prices just cause “I could” if that makes sense?

I’d toss down 800.00 cash today (to a trusted seller) and on a recent deal that fell thru even offered 800.00 and the choice of a custom from my Trade Crate Mk. 2 thread that would have hit the seller’s price…he decided to keep it and I applauded him doing so!

The closer it gets to my birthday I might consider offering more…only time will tell!

Heh…I could “never” bring myself to ask a TRUE MARS lover to sell me one of theirs…I might joke about it but would not do it seriously. My little Martian Colony is only six…but I couldn’t even consider letting one go…and am having a hard time considering skinning the Cactus-Crater (if I am unsuccessful in getting “just one more.”).

Thanks again for the insight Brother!

One more always leads to one more again. I dont see anything wrong with one more every birthday.
