Never start a thread in the off-topic section, but I thought this might be of interest to a few.
This is the second time this year I am coming across members who I have transacted with and have requested feedback from, are saying they don't know how to, and in the process not showing any interest to learn either.
Bear in mind, these are active members posting away from morn till night.
Considering feedback numbers establishes credibility, I brought this to @tomcat's attention.
Just wondering what your thoughts are...

I'll apologize now, if I've neglected my duties. I'm guilty of being lazy because, yes there are those that don't care whether they get feedback or not. Sometimes I go on binges and I buy multiple pairs. So I tend to forget. Sorry. If there's anyone I missed, and all you would need to do is remind me once, and I will get you that feedback. Sometimes I need a swift kick in my ass.🤙

Wasn’t you Bud. But I appreciate the effort and understanding.

That was for anyone who I may have forgotten. I'm not trying to purposely be a d1ck. Sometimes I just show up to post a selfies, some music videos, some memes, welcome new members, and say Happy Birthday to whoever has one that day. Again I know I can be a big forgetful doofus. Just give me a quick slap behind the head (send a message), and I'll get feedback out ASAP. Apologies to those I may have forgotten. I'll try look back at my messages and get those out.🤙

Feedback both here and eBay is getting more and more rare as time passes. I figure for every 4 items I sell I might get one feedback or feedback request on here and its about 1 to 6 on eBay. I do wish more people would do it and for awhile I tried, like you have, to help them with leaving feedback but it is NOT cut and dry how to do it here and if it takes anything more than a minimal effort human nature is to just say eff it! It would be easier to get people on board with leaving feedback if there was a button on the sales listings that leads to it or something that is that easy to find and use. Having to go back and find the thread to copy and paste its url into the feedback page is more work than most people are willing to put into it and there are times when the thread has been pushed to page 4 or 5 by the time the item is in hand which means its a search to even locate it. Without getting to long winded I will say the process here, while not difficult, is too lengthy and takes too much effort for human nature and needs to be simplified if we want more people to use it. I have 85 feedbacks to show for almost 10 years having made sales here and I bet it would be more like 250 or more if it was more simple.

Yeah i am one of them 🤣😅…i dont care about em feedbacks. Look at @Kyle75 last i checked he has 100% fb 🤣😅🤣😅 and he’s a scamming doiche clown!
and then there is that.... Especially on eBay... I returned a fake Benchmade knife to a guy there who was a real POS and then added to my feedback that it was a fake and buyer beware. He got my comment removed from his page just by asking even though it was factual and not insulting. I 100% do not trust eBay feedback at all! Here... I kinda think we do a better job of it but its not impossible for someone to make up accounts and give themselves feedback which is something Kyle would do...

I try to ensure, any sales I'm part of, I record with Feedback. It is not only courteous, but also helps other members gauge a users ability to enable a trade.
I too think the Feedback system could be 'tweeked' for a more streamlined experience.
