did you use aluminum oxide for blasting?
I am not sure what kind of material it is. It's very light in color.

As far as I know thats how the X-Metal finish was done.
I have original Frames and the Frame I have done side by side and there is almost no difference.

The original Oakley is darker and matte. The ones I have done are shinier and lighter.

Top Frame OEM X-Metal.
Bottom Frame a ex Plasma blasted with glass.
OEM is darker with less reflection.
