I Aluminum Oxide blasted it.

Donor was a cleared Whiskey

mate how did you achieve this frosted finished? by sanding?
what sandpaper grit #s did you use?

So y'all mentioned silver RadarLock's as a possible project to clear, any idea about things like the different jackets (Flak, Half, etc) or M2's in the same silver color? I'm curious to maybe try one for a project if anyone has any ideas.

I will say too, that you might be able to do some frosted or clear Frogs. Yes, they sell clear Frogs, so nothing earth-shattering. I don't remember the colorway, but I had one that the coating started chipping, so I stripped them down, I believe with sandpaper. The tips of the temples went a frosted clear, so I faded the paint into them and left them partially clear. The paint job kinda sucks, so maybe I'll strip them down again and see what happens.
