Monster Dogs gone wrong

With O-Matter once it's scratched there's really no going back via polished or removers as they're abrasive. You'd be needing to have the piece re-painted by one of the fine gentlemen on the Forum who are masters at such.

Urmm....really??? Sigh, I guess then I will try to sell it here locally. That is usually a way that I use to get my money back...although it may take some time....

This!!

You may want to talk to one of the guys in the meantime....you might be amazed at what you can turn this pair into!

Ha, I'm your lense polishing man, but I'll give anything a go!
Don't worry though, like all good advice given already on this topic, stay patient, keep the emails to the seller polite and to a minimum. Let eBay do the work, they will always hopefully side with the buyer and promise to reimburse 100% of the sale. Most people give up and won't see it through to its full conclusion, so hang in there, document everything and hopefully all will end up with him receiving his Monster Mongrels back - karma! :)

Hahaha lols, yea lets hope so - Hmmm, I was just browsing the bay for a pair of walleva or aftermarket lenses, don't know if I should be doing that. So how may I go about the business of these severely scratched lenses?? Shall I send em over to you? Or is there something I can get done here myself? Shall I show them to a local eyewear specialist?

Noooooooo, I'm definitely not your man!
XMetalAddict was having a joke about one of my threads (Juliet Lenses - Time on my hands ), which was all about me creating a non iridium lense, not intentionally I might add!
It started of well like all things, but I got carried away (a Victor Frankenstein moment) and was left with one blue iridium lense and one black iridium-less lense! It was all in the name of science though,so I'll try it again at some point or most probably buy some new lenses - but where's the fun in that!

Congrats - you are now the owner of a $2 pair of glasses..

P.S.
I don't know when people will learn to stop buying glasses off of eBay

(Or using eBay period)

Oh...okay....well wish u good luck with that.....(What are we if we don't dare to try something new everyday)

Okay well sadly as it turns out the case wasn't ruled in my favour....for which I don't know but I guess I'm kinda thankful to have realised how bad it is to deal on ebay. Thinking to write it off completely and use the O forum as my primary buying engine - Thankfully and For which I am ever so grateful to everybosy on this forum - I've had some amazing buys from here and haven't ever been disappointed. So kudos to all here for being awesome.

Okay so now let's move this thread to a new discussion of what I can potentially do with the dogs. I was contemplating on just sqeezin lg out a can of spray-paint on it myself which is the extent of how i do my diy stuff. I almost never try it on most valuable pairs. Just the ones that have been old and sitting with me for quite a while. All in all, I've done about five to six frames and only two turned out to be fairly alright. So I guess that's out of the question. One thing that I really want is an O Matter frame that is painted Polished Chrome. So, is there anybody here on the forum that can help me with that. Let me also know how much it will cost me to have it done.

Oh, Also, let me know IF it would be possible to have it done a polished clear colour.

Thanks a bunch.
