You can re-shape the stems at home, all you need is a kettle, a rubber band, an object to use as spacer (15,5cm aprox).
Boil them for half an hour with the rubber at the end of the stems and the spacer keeping the stems on place.
I have done it and it worked the re-shape with hot water, the paint is intact and is fitting tighter now, the stems are not full straight anymore and have some curvature
