Both of you represent the best of different eras. You guys rock.

Their self titled album in ‘78 went Diamond as did 1984.

Something Hagar couldn’t do.

Van Halen was and will always be Roth. By the time Hagar came along the true fan base was eroded and the sound the band was legendary for was gone.

1978 was raw and aggressive. Towards the end the Hagar era was watered down, pop music that targeted an entirely different demographic.
