MUZM Mars

I consider the new Mars to be a traditional xmetal. Sure, manufacturing process was different but still xmetal in my book. Looks great in my collection with my other 120+ xmetals.
I honestly could give 2 shlts what other collectors think.
My collection is for me and not for them.

older by age or older by years collecting? I know of only 2 collectors at the red event that snagged them. Most of the collectors that have been collecting a long time feel like that are fake. They aren’t cast, they are just reproducing pairs designed by employees you guys let go of. I think there are several factors that weigh into it. But let me hit a couple of the dudes up later. I got stuck working today so I’ll hit them up later, and comment once I find out their reasoning.

You guys? I wasn’t aware I let go of OG Oakley employees.

A corvette made 50 years ago and a corvette made today is still a corvette. Yet they are made completely different than they were 50 years ago.

you are comparing apples and oranges, and you attacked the dude for saying he didn’t think they were real x metals. I was just pointing out, a lot of older collectors feel that way.

The original definition (stated by oakley) of xmetal was not only the material used but the process to make them. Jim is also quoted as saying “X-metal is reserved for those models made at our Nevada factory”

Jus sayin

Man you guys complain about the dumbest ****
