They do make a difference, but Oakley may have done these this way to make them even. I have a Romeo 1 that needs a 25 and 15 to be symmetrical.

You could always get some from Linegear Japan to test.
I see so it's about being symmetrical too. I didn't feel like they were off in that regard when I was wearing them but I'll make a point to see if they truly are.
 
It's only a small difference at the hinge but very noticeable at the tips of the arm.
oem size 15 and 25 t-shocks are readily available and may be worth putting a 'would like to buy' in the exchange section.
I'll further investigate on the symmetricalness with those shocks, but I don't think it would hurt to have an extra set anyway. Thanks for the recommendation.
