MUZM Mars

Only because you asked and it’s another area of collecting that I am actively involved in. Originals made in 1998 sell for $8000-$10,000

They re-released a limited edition version in 2018 that sells for $12,000-$14,000. That being said, the re-release was full of new technology and major improvements.

So i guess you are partially right? I’m surprised even with the advances technology inside the machine it’s worth more than the original? But cool to know. But again what technology did oakley use in the new ones that weren’t used in the originals? I said early it would have been totally cool for a small redesign, using different leathers or even just one of the new lens technologies or colors or lenses but this is an exact replica.

Ok look I'll blow everyone's Oakley minds here.
We are all wearing Replicas!
Unless you have the very first and I mean very first Oakley product produced off the line, then we are all wearing replicas. The sunglasses are replicated multiple times to sell. Hence the name... Replicate or Replica.

What? That’s not how it works but ok……..

You mentioned the Lamborghini that isn’t an exact copy of the original. It’s a total redesign by Lamborghini. Different body different engine new technology. Not an exact replica. And again you show me one Lamborghini replica that sells for as much let alone 2 times more than a real one.
What's the same about the MUZM Mars to the original? Same metal? Same leather or lens?

Yeah they have remade 4 machines now and they all sell for more than the originals. More are coming. What technology Oakley use? Well I would say the 3D titanium printing and the new prizm lenses for sure. I mean they are glasses so yeah no microchips or control boards to upgrade.

Also here are the average price of an original and a 25th anniversary countach. The 25th has better technology in it and still sells on average for less than original.

I have a coffee table at home. It's a 1 of 1. No other was made. It's unique it's original.
I have a Romeo at home. It's 002187 (Yes that's right I call him Finn). That means there were 2187 made before it. Technically... It's a replica.
No that’s not a replica, it’s part of the original product run hahahah dude stop. I am cracking up over here.

If the guys that wanted them MUZM pairs spent 10 grand that’s up to them. Whatever makes you/them happy. Why continue to beat guys down if you don’t agree?
People that fell for this price are the reason that oakley sets the price they do. They know they have suckers on the hook, and people fell for it. I just want people to be real honest about these and stop lying to others and themselves.
