My Medusa that I’ve just bought, check for red flags?🚩

Here is my latest purchase. After seeing one on display in the Oakley store at universal when I was 14 I always wanted it. Now after 22 years I finally got one!

I was worried incase it was a fake but on arrival looks incredibly good quality.
There could be a few red flags but I’m not sure.
Inside has a red Oakley label and the size says L only.
Anything to be suspicious about?

There are 28 tassels not including the tie back.

You tell me, I paid £2970 for the hat, goggles, and head bob all in mint condition?

It is more than what people would pay. But these are rare to find in good condition.

Check for any sample tags inside the helmet. They will reduce the price. Also did yours come with extra buttons for the goggles? What box do you have? Those determine price and rarity.

I’ll check tomorrow, the goggles came with the orginal box but the helmet didn’t come with any box, bag or poppers for the buttons. Saying all that, the helmet is exactly the same colour and fabric as the googles. I’ve seen others vary in colour to the googles. The seller had lots of Oakley items for sale so all the right signs were there

If I were to get a good bargain on all of those items separate it still would have come out just over £2300 so to get it all together I’m happy. I’m hoping never to sell it it’s part of all my other collectable ****e
