New Straight Jacket II - Cerakoted FDE & LR Black

I recently picked up a bare and a little beat up New Straight Jacket II frame that was originally polished black. Wasn’t sure what color I was going to make it but had a spare set of Oakley Grey lenses and rubber kit for it when done. This weekend I decided to finally blast it and refinish. I went with Cerakote’s Magpul FDE (H-267) and did the hinge sections and icons in LR Black (LR-100). Happy to bring a pair back to life.

Reporting Officer Comment: I just had El Zach paint me a Sliver F in L-100 Black…can’t wait to see it in person. Also digging the Cerakote FDE. I usually default to Cerakote Troy Coyote for my desert tan but this is really nice.

Thank you! I think you’ll really like your Sliver in LR Black. It’s become one of my favorite coatings. I’ve also used it on an X-Squared with Maritime Prizm lenses and as the bottom half of a Splice. The black is just awesome!

If you have not yet, I “HIGHLY” recommend trying any of the Steel-It colors. Stuff is amazing.
