Overall these are too snazzy for my stuffy self…but a rust decay model of the original Max Fearlight I’d pounce on in a heartbeat.

Box looks nice! Better than the original release from 2022.

They do look good, I wish they scaled the gold pattern back 50% on the burn brush so it was more subtle like the originals. I spent too much on the 2022 release so I’ll have to wait on these. Either way I’m glad to see them bring this one back.

I guess I mean, it's either a Sub Zero or a Zero .6- correct? Since they were different. Not trying to split hairs but clarify for my own sake since I thought I had a handle on the naming history (which admittedly, is somewhat confusing given all the changes that they made)

The difference was the length of the ear stems, the first ones in 93 ended in a nub right past the ear sock. The 0.6 etc around 96 had about a 1 1/2 inch length past the ear sock

Is there a noticeable texture difference on the frame of the new model? It looks like the gold aspect is raised, like it was laid over the frame rather than being part of it like they did on the original.

Yeah, I'd say it's either screen or pad printed. The original looks like they used multiple resin colors in the injection molding process and just let them naturally blend through the screw and barrel of the injection molding press.

Thanks, that is what I was afraid of when the first real pictures hit. That's what I like about my originals, like you said it's clearly part of the molding process. So not only is it more subtle but don't have to worry about peeling or flaking potentially.

Still think they’re too expensive. Surely these will be on sale at a later date like the originals.
