New sunglasses. Is this Prizm Sapphire?

Hi all,

I am looking for a quick sense check to make sure I am not losing my mind.

I purchased a pair of Oakley Wire Tap 2.0 prescription sunglasses through the Oakley website. I ordered the Prizm Sapphire Polar lenses. The paperwork (and the box) that came with the glasses suggests that the lenses are Prizm Sapphire but there is no hint of blue colour in the lenses at all.

After sending the attached photo, Oakley support tell me that I have received the correct lenses and that the images on their online store use different lighting and angles which may look “slightly different” in different environments, but to me it is completely different.

Can anyone confirm if there is any chance that I do indeed have Prizm Sapphire lenses?

I’m not sure about RX lenses but that isn’t any kind of Prizm Sapphire that I have ever seen

I’ve open another support ticket at Oakley and will keep fingers crossed that the next customer advisor isn’t also colour blind.

I'd say they never looked at your pictures. Even an ape would be able to see those aren't blue. Knowing how they have been you may need to go to a store and have them handle it in person.

Extremely bad QC. It would only be slightly more acceptable if it was off the shelf stock, but for them to be prescription they really messed that one up.
