Oakley Assault Boot vs Light Boot

Oakleys website only lists two sizes for the Assault Boot now. 8.5 and 12. Since my wife purchased them on line thinking they might be ok I’m wondering if I should swap these 12s for a 10.5 Light Assault Boot. The 12s aren’t that big, in fact they are long but not exceptionally wide. Thoughts ?

Actually they have the Patrol boot in a 10.5

Has anyone work out a pair of assault boots yet? I had better service out of Nike Special field boots, but I was in a rough terrain when I had the Oakleys.

Ill ask my buddy, he was in the Navy and has more time on his than most.

I personally wear the Nike boots an no complaints I'm mostly on concrete but I've got several co workers that use the Oakley's an they really like them
An far as looks I think the Oakley boots look better just my 2 cents

Are the boots for casual wear, or bush bashing? Something in between?

Aesthetics aside, the main differences between the models of any given boot company are weight, and ankle support, or lack thereof.
