Yeah it's just depressing all these non collectors scooping them up just to flip them for triple the price or more. Oakley really screwed its biggest supporters with this release, not to mention themselves by only making 150.

I have made it clear before - I am all for Capitalism with a capital 'C', for profit, letting the market decide the value of things. It is a very specific case when people grab O-stuff and try to flip it for more than twice its value that I start to get really annoyed. If the listing was out there for $1500, or even $2000 I could see that - heck, I might even do that myself if I needed the $, but $3000 immediately, on a flip??? There is no argument that can be made for that unless perhaps the Seller bought a plane ticket to a particular store and camped out, maybe stayed a night or two and they are rolling all of their travel fees into the asking price... Sure there is some tax and maybe gas, shipping, or even a finders fee? Still - that is an insane markup for a product that is an EPIC FAIL to boot, its just sad on so many levels.

I don't want to wish anything negative on the Seller but you would have to think karma will find a way to make that and other listings like it right.

No Raws in the SF Bay Area. Rep said socal got a few.. Not a big deal.. Not happy with the price and how the non collectors put them on EBay! Kind of wish they would stop with all the limited stuff just to create hype! Just make bad ass shades like the old days.

It was just a matter of time, I mean look at the X Squared and Juliet's people have them at a huge mark up too. I've been looking for XX and Pit Boss but can't find many at a reasonable cost. Feel stupid letting my 24k X Squared's go for only $375.

Not exactly apples to apples - Those other glasses you mention are not pieces of ****!

Also, most of those were available at or below cost for some time, many for years after release, with the most sought after limited editions being no more that 2x in most cases. Not to mention those were at least made with quality materials and performed as actual sunglasses - neither is true of the Madman.

I saw a few 24K's in the $500 to $800 range just 2 or 3 years ago - I have not seen one for less that $1400 shipped since in the last 2 years. I have even more than that invested in my 24K X Squared, maybe I'm the fool - but I would feel really stupid have worn the Madman, paying more than cost for any of those models. At some point common sense has to kick in. For me this is kind of like selling a special serialized Lego - a plastic piece of something barely worth its weight in injection molding, for a price that is almost unspeakable.

Okay guys lets not fuzz about these raws too much we all know it will show up on ebay no matter what on how much who really cares. If you want them get them if you got two and want to flip it its your choice do it you have the right to do so no matter how obsurd it is the madman or madman raw is die hards gets them as its a so called limited release. Its thesame with the 24 ks and the ichiros, owe especially the romeos new or banged and all the exclusives they are being flipped PERIOD so what if they are cheapmetals if you can afford one take em regardless if its worth it or not varies in inviduals opinion. If you get one im giving my big CONGRATULATIONS.

No offense meant to you man, I was just stating that the limited products are always bought up and inflated, not saying you have anything to do with it. If you have an issue with the Madman then why are you even commenting on them, just because they are O Matter and Aluminum does not make them crap. You are entitled to your opinion.
