Yup. Exactly. Sometimes you have to be cheeky and go through their drawers underneath the shelves to see if there are any new shades hiding down there!

Being a collector, I walk in there every time with a pair of rare frogs on my head, only one person ever commented on them during all my visits there.

What he said was: "Dude, those are some fake frogskins, here, come have a look at a real pair". I wanted to slap him in the d*ck.

What a f***ing C*** I went in the West field stost couple of weeks back and the bird came right over to me and she was like i really like your inmates i took them of and showed her that i had the icons paid red the started telling her i have most of the stuff the have in the shop plus a pair of Staple Holbrooks...She just looked at me like where they hell are you on about now!


By the time i was don't chatting to her i only walked out of there with a t shire with 10% off.... Yeah thats right she gave me £2:50 off will for sure be going back to she here again!!! LOL

Yeah. I went in their once and I got a young guy who was pretty clued up and we had a good long chat about Frogskins and he told me that Oakley HQ treat them pretty bad in terms of information, it was up to them to keep on top of what models were coming out rather than Oakley telling them what was coming. Most of the time they only find out about new ranges when the delivery man turns up and drops them off. I haven't seen him since unfortunately, maybe he got fed up of working there.

The other times I've been in the store the staff are totally clueless. I guess they're part-timers with no real interest in the products just their paycheck. I was in there a couple of weeks ago trying to find out some info on the Jolly Roger & Old Glories and the girl I asked just looked at me like I was talking a foreign language. She then said she'd get the manager as he would know, walked off, started chatting to another customer and totally forgot about me. Left me standing there for 5 minutes like a lemon, which was nice.

The dudes at my local O Store and Vault seem pretty competent, compared to what some others have to deal with.

I picked up a pair of Frog lenses last night at the O Store. I didn't notice it at the store, but the OCP Fire lens is much more orange/red than most of my other Fire lenses. You can see a big difference when you compare them side by side with other Fires. They're not exactly ruby, but definitely darker than my other Fire lenses. Maybe just the first batch is like this, since there seems to be some variance in lense colors anyway.

...and the other good old english attitude of "I don't get paid to know about what i'm sell"... I get this all the time at car dealers i go in there and they now ask me about the cars they are selling me!! lol

What a f***ing joke this guy is!! I would've told him off and shown him the proof..I hope you told him what they were...and better not have not said anything! That gets me pissed reading it man.. Some people deserve to be slapped across the face..
