OCP Frogskins

Is it just me or are those Blue Iridium lenses REALLY Blue... I have some blue iridium in some marine fades and they are pretty toned down.

Checked out our local Vault and low and behold they had OCP Frogz )

They even had a Polished White/Red letters w/ OO Black Iridium Polarized, Crystal Black w/ Ice Iridium and Polished Rootbeer/Fire Iridium already prebuilt for $120!

The worrying thing is there are no Matte White or Matte Rootbeer frames. They've done Polished Rootbeer w/ Fire Iridium which to me says 'Look, you can have something very close to the original Matte Rootbeer w/ Fire Iridium that isn't ever going to be available again!'.

I was also hoping for both of those matte options. I wanted to toss a pair of Ice or Jade into the matte white, and fire into matte rootbeer (of course), but alas it appears all for naught.

So the "OCP" polished white frame has the red lettering just like the standard polished white with ruby? That is really disappointing....

All the frames are standard frames currently being produced, you now just have the option of putting different lenses in. I guess Oakley saw the massive aftermarket lenses sales and thought they might as well get in on the action. As many here have said, they'll take Oakley lenses over VLs etc. Maybe the aftermarket lenses will now reduce in price in reaction to the OCP Frogskins programme?

Yes they do seem to be extra blue, I put a set into some acid blue Frogskins and they just about matched the frame! I like the look but it's almost too much blue, lol!

interesting indeed, always thought it was never gonna be an option online. does this mean replacement lenses will be sold online as well?

Yes they do seem to be extra blue, I put a set into some acid blue Frogskins and they just about matched the frame! I like the look but it's almost too much blue, lol!

Doesn't the box say Ice Iridium and not Blue Iridium?
