UCLA @ Memphis was a pretty good game. Lots of lead changes, looked like UCLA was gonna make another 4th quarter comeback but Memphis held them on their final drive, pulled off the upset 48-45.

@kronin323 What a great game USC vs Texas. Man Texas brought their Defense to the game, they had nothing to lose. USC could not run at all.
Slow start and man did it pick up at the end of the first half and second half and OT's. Texas freshman QB played OK. Was a stud on the last drive that took the lead at the end of the 4th qt with 45sec to go.
I tell you USC's QB Sam Darnold has ICE in his veins. That drive with 45sec to get them in field goal range!! The a true freshman kicker tied the score and sent it into OT.
Lastly that true freshman kicker for USC won the game in the second OT with a 43 yard FG.
Wow my emotions were all over the place with this game. Another epic battle between these 2 great football schools.

Yeah, that game nearly killed me, I almost had like a dozen heart attacks as it played out...

The loss was disappointing but only because we had a chance to win it - going into the game, I was afraid we'd get slaughtered, at best hoping we'd keep it from getting out of hand. By that measure, the team exceeded expectations, a loss I can be happy with. They should keep their heads up high. Ehlinger needs to work on his accuracy but he proved to have poise under pressure, the ability to make plays happen. The future looks good.

It was a great game and congrats on the W.

The Georgia Bulldogs got after that a** and chomped Mississippi State to shreds. Two turnovers by MS State definitely doomed them. Dawgs started off hot and stayed that way. :)

It's still too difficult figuring out where a lot of these teams really are. They get beat by powderpuffs then throw down a great fight against a top team. Or the opposite, they seem unstoppable then struggle or get upset by a team that's looked weak. Who's overrated, who's underrated? It'll shake out eventually but right now you just can't tell.

As they say, it's better to lose early, than later in the season though. But I agree, and never under estimate an unranked conference opponent game! Those are often the games teams will slip up.

This Washington State / USC game has been a fun one! Currently 27-20 Washington state leading with 7 minutes left in the 4th!

I will say, I'm not a fan of college having games on Friday night. Friday night is for high school football
