It's been 16 years since I bought my last comic book (which still means I was buying them at 26...) and though I had some GOTG stuff my memory of it was pretty hazy.

And I was skeptical of the movie before it came out and, despite its success, didn't see it in the theater.

But I did see it when it hit the movie channels and yes I enjoyed it quite a bit, have watched it several times now. And I was amused by all the different meanings inflected by "I am Groot" in the movie, and it seemed the perfect fit for certain situations here on the forum.

In other words, I am Groot...

Not really; I dabbled with model aircraft in high school but that's it.
