Whoever used a 60% off code read this | Page 8 | Oakley Forum

I read through that some earlier today but feel like I'm missing something. Is someone on this forum the culprit or something? I feel like some are enjoying watching this because someone had it coming to them or something?

I enjoy it because of the way this place has been feeling lately. Bunch of people wanting something for nothing and trying to screw people over flipping pairs they didn't pay much for. I can say with 100% confidence that many of those codes were used with the intention of unloading the pairs at near retail prices on the forum or eBay.

**** those people. Every damn one of them. I hope they follow through and leave the brand. Maybe then prices won't be so stupid and eBay won't offer better deals than here.

I like a bargain, just like anyone else, though. I feel slightly vindicated by missing out on those codes. There is a thin line between pricing within reason and flipping, though. I will just sit and eat some virtual popcorn.

Everyone knew it was wrong. EVERYONE. Anyone who claims they didn't is a damn liar. You know how Oakley works, and it damn sure isn't by giving 60% off codes out like candy to some **** who sells them.

This is the company that put a serial number on a $400 pair of glasses and sold it to you for $1000. They do friends and family a couple times a year for a much smaller discount with all kinds of restrictions on what you can buy and they don't even advertise that. But oh, hey look, some people have discounts for sale on eBay! But shhhhhh! Let's not talk about it on the open forum because they might catch on! But wait, now that we know there's more codes than one person could horde for themselves they're for sale again in a wink wink nudge nudge thread. They must be legit!
