I understand the C6 issue but if I recall correctly, the lense quality was crap. Jw since so much testing and trial and error go into a Oakley lense but we don't really see that from the aftermarket.

Aside from any quality questions, aftermarkets devalue your Oaks.

Personally I will only use Oakley lenses. But I feel if others want to use aftermarkets, that's their choice, no skin off my hide. I just hope they're making an educated decision.

I prefer using Oakley lenses. Luckily, most of my sunglasses are still out in the wild. I just learned to be more careful with the ones I have because some lenses are becoming scarce. I can only empathize with those metal owners having to cut Big Taco lenses or buying NON-OEM lenses. I don't judge or anything, since it isn't my money.
