I was leaning towards the bip half x. My wife likes the wire. Thanks I am rich that's one of my fun pairs. I think the potential bad guys might see them and at least say WTF? Maybe even think I'm a little crazy which can be a good thing

Crazy and possibly uncontrollable is a good mix with the criminal element. In my experience you can send 5 patrol units to clear a corner and most will flip you off. Bring one K9 and they are off like a rocket. They trust the police not to really go nuts but a dog that's another story. Just like with mace. Point your weapon at them and there isn't much further you can go. They know you aren't going to shoot them but pull out your mace and you got their attention

My vote would be the Mars with BI also. Doesn't look flashy but commands attention all the same. Sounds like exactly what you are looking for.
